About Me

Hi there, welcome to my personal website. My name is Arda Güler, and I am a PhD candidate and researcher at Goethe University Frankfurt working at the Chair of Information Systems and Information Management under the supervision of Prof. Oliver Hinz.

I hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Mathematics with a focus on Statistics from the University of Bremen. My research focuses on the intersection of business, technology, causal inference, and analytical modeling, combining empirical methods with theoretical modeling.

My work has been published at the European Conference on Information Systems (ECIS) and in Business & Information Systems Engineering (BISE). I have presented my research at several international venues, including the Workshop on Information Technology and Systems (WITS) 2024, the Statistical Challenges in E-Commerce Research (SECER) 2024, the Workshop on Digital Markets (WDM) 2025, CODE@MIT 2025, and the Causal Data Science Meeting (CDSM) 2024 and 2025.
